American Civil Rights Activist and Educator Ellie J. Dahmer to be Awarded Honorary Doctorate from USM
Esteemed Civil Rights activist and lifelong educator Mrs. Ellie Jewel Davis Dahmer, of Forrest County, Miss., will be awarded a Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa, during a University of Southern Mississippi (USM) Fall 2019 Commencement ceremony.
